#Project6068 Launch Funding

Welcome to the start of anew. The redirecting of our engrained idea of progression from
the old teaching the young, to the young teaching the old. An education in self discovery and
the rekindling of our childhood selves. Welcome to #Project6068, the journey of taking the
fantastic dreams we had as children, and making them into tangible realities.
Remember how to believe you can fly, and take off with me to a place where legends are
recorded history, summers never end, and robots are real.

The Lab, #Project6068, and The Purpose
The Lab is our space to create the fantastic. That space is different for everyone, but for
us it is a sectioned of garage space filled with tools, materials, and ideas. A place where we go
to reveal the ideas rattling around in our head, without fear of criticism, and with the respect of
our own desire to be heard. The Lab is the where ideas take to the physical, and it is where
#Project6068 will be built.
#Project6068 is really the manifestation of a dream. Together, with your help we have set
out to build and show a fully rigged, to scale, 10 foot robot warrior.

.......wait.... A WHAT?!? You read that right. We have taken on the bold task of creating our
largest dream. Inspired by a childhood dream rekindled by my youngest son, Sebastian, we
have spent the last 9 months prototyping mechanics, exploring art techniques, and testing
manufacturing methods. All to examine the feasibility of creating a real world piece that moves,
interacts, and inspires all that come in contact with it.
So what exactly are we talking about? We are talking about a mechanically inclined 3D art
and design professional acting on the enthusiastic vision of his son (The #MasterMind) and
building the coolest, most daring interactive art piece to show the world that ANYTHING can be
done ANYWHERE if you put your heart, soul, and childhood dream into it!

Have you done anything like this before? PFFF NO! This is a challenge to my own skills
and the support of those that believe the same thing I do. Creativity is king, and the world
follows it's every move. (You can however find our inspiration with THESE GUYS! )

The dirty details of the build. The piece will consist of elements that are indicative of any
warrior. Plated armor skins, intimidating size, fully functioning audio, lighting effects, and a few other surprises!

In all we will be building a wearable aluminum skeletal structure skinned with various
plastics and rubberized foams crafted to simulate heavy steels. Fit this with an audio and visualexperience and you have this project.


TO DO SOMETHING AWESOME! O, and to share our enthusiasm of
creating with the world! I am driven to document the process and share it through blogs,
tutorials, and eBooks filled with extra secrets!
I want to take the inspiration of following the excitement of my son and instill it into a world
I find sterile and afraid to do something different. To break every mold that we are put in and
demonstrate that success is still buried in the garage (desk, coffee table, floor) of those that
dare to chip away at it. To show everyone that it's crazier to write off childhood dreams, then it is
to chase them down.

Once we have completed the project, we will take it to our first public venue (already
secured by the gracious SoDak Con) to display our creation that you helped us build. From
there we take to open forums, discussion panels, and other various public events to spread the
inspiration and excitement of an average guy and his son have created.

What if we exceed our goal?

First things first, getting to our goal. What if we get past it? The Lab has a great deal of projects and ambitions. The farther above the goal we go the more we can do, simple as that. Awareness of our project is the hardest part of this whole undertaking. Initially additional funds will be used to transport our projects, launch awareness campaigns, and stock additional supplies. If The Lab raises twice of it's anticipated goal, additional Projects will be put onto the agenda. Should funding find a generous source, The Lab will seek out additional facilities, expand programs, and reach out to community leaders to further what we hope will be a creative movement. However, we are here to instill inspiration in all ages, and nothing will stop us from building to that.

After the Fundraising

The Lab will begin #Project6068 with any and all funds that have been graciously donated. Rewards will begin distribution as they become available with the first eBook estimated to be completed in June of 2015.

The Lab will prepare and launch it's full site, in conjunction with the completion of fundraising and all contributors will have the first opportunity to signup for updates to on the front line of how well #Project6068 is growing because of you!
