Paris Refugee Ground Support

We are a grassroots distribution and coordination team working to alleviate the suffering of displaced people for the past two years in Greece, Calais, Dunkirk, and currently based in Paris. Any donations will go directly to help and support these people trying to survive desperate conditions on the streets of Paris.

The two only constants are the people (young children, women and men) and their basic needs. The situation around them is ever changing, in terms of politics, seasonal change, police hostility and level of donations.

The situation changes rapidly and we adapt to these changes in order to facilitate these needs to the best of our ability.

We coordinate with charities, small groups and concerned individuals in the UK and throughout Europe to collaborate our efforts to help in the absence of adequate governmental support.

Every donation is invaluable as every person deserves care and every life matters equally.

Coordinating these efforts can incur parking, toll and petrol costs as we conduct distributions from our van.

Organised evacuations, evictions and inhumane control measures by the authorities, such as bans on food and water, clothing and sleeping essentials mean that previously distributed aid is destroyed or taken. Providing replacements is essential to ensure people don’t sleep exposed to bitter winter conditions and temperatures below 0°.

The donors from the UK have been overwhelmingly generous and the solidarity from the French people has been inspiring. Now is the time that funds are the most important resource, allowing us to distribute aid efficiently and appropriately.
