Help Poppyseed the Potbellied Pig!

Poppyseed is a young potbellied pig who once lived in a home with his very own family. When his mom found out she wasn't allowed to keep him in her community, she drove him to a farm, where he was enclosed in a barren hunting dog run with only a plastic barrel for shelter in the below-freezing temperatures. Unable to walk on the icy ground, Poppy couldn't reach his food and barely ate for three weeks. Upon his rescue, he had dropped from 50 to 30 pounds.

When Poppy's foster family took him in, he was suffering from an upper respiratory infection and was so weak that he could hardly even lift himself to his feet. He was immediately rushed to the nearest emergency vet and given treatment. 

Poppy still has a ways to go before he's back to his normal self.  He is liver is not functioning correctly, and he is struggling to gain weight. He has needed bloodwork, antibiotics, eye ointment, deworming, and more. He'll need ongoing medical attention, food, toys, and, finally, neutering once he is healthy again.
