Remodel Local Long Beach Food Bank

Hello from the Villano family (Bella, Pamela and Monique). We are now in charge of our local Long Beach Food bank located at Emmanuel Church 4017 E. 6th Street in Long Beach.
Our local food bank, through donations from our generous community and other food banks, is able to offer a variety of food options to hundreds of clients each month. Clients are able to support their family with products they are accustomed to.
Our current facilities are not well suited for the number of clients we serve. We are raising money to add shelving to our facility so our clients have a shopping experience similar to a local supermarket. These shelves will also help our volunteers organize and store products for each month's offering. We have volunteers ready and waiting to paint the premises to create a positive and clean environment.
Caring for our local population and giving back to the community has always been near and dear to my heart. I am so excited about having the opportunity to run our local food bank and provide services to our community. Our whole family is working towards making this a great experience for everyone. We feel this is a great learning experience for our young daughter Bella.
