Hi, my name is Anna and I truly appreciate your time. My journey with cancer began 11 years ago when I was 27 with my current battle beginning 5 years ago.  So far I’ve had 24 chemo treatments, 33 rounds of radiation, almost a dozen surgeries and hormone therapy.  However, my cancer remains unstable and has spread to my lungs through my lymph nodes.  My husband and I have sought out alternative therapies in the US with no permanent solution.  Our research and prayers have led us to a hospital in Mexico where my friend with the same cancer recurrence as me was cured 4 years ago.  I’ve been accepted as a patient at this hospital and am very hopeful about the science based treatment. 

Although my journey has been daunting at times, it has also been life changing for the better.  I’ve met so many amazing people that I may never have crossed paths with otherwise and have had a beautiful spiritual experience that I would not take back.  The love and comfort I have received from friends and family is more than most people experience in a lifetime which has carried me through to this point.   Being vulnerable and asking for help is not something that comes easy to me and I cannot express enough gratitude for your consideration in helping us.
