Medical Expense Fund

Phill has been diagnosed with a rare type of pancreatic cancer. It is called metastatic pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer. The tumors in his pancreas and liver are called insulinomas and they produce large amounts of insulin which make it diffucult for Phill to maintain his blood sugar.

Phill was recently hospitalized from 2/22/15 to 3/17/15. He is receiving his treatment at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. As you can imagine medical bills and travel expenses are starting to add up.

We know this cancer is not cureable. Many doctors have explained he has too many tumors to remove with surgery. He will hopefully be starting chemotherapy in April to stop the growth of the tumors and to potentially shrink them and help to manage his symptoms and low blood sugars.

We have been very humbled by all of the support and love we've received thus far. We had mixed feelings about setting up this account because asking for others hard earned money is not something we ever thought we'd have to do.

Your support is appreciated more than you could ever know.
