Phillip Parker Donation

Phillip Parker, a kind hearted and an extremely gifted student, was one of my favorite students at Northern Light School in Oakland when I taught there in 2010. I had the great opportunity to be his mentor when he was in 8th grade to help guide him to see his potential. I had the amazing opportunity to see a young child grow from a kid to a man in short time and who was loved my EVERYONE. He graduated with high honors and received a scholarship to Marin Academy High School. :)

Phillip was blessed to have an amazing mother (Lanora), his one rock in his whole life, who loved and supported him every step of the way. Lanora worked a lot, and a lot more than most of us, just to give Phillip the opportunity to attend Northern Light School. A few days ago, tragedy struck, and Lanora passed away due to a blood clot. His main rock, his only financial supporter, his mother was gone. Now, Phillip is in a tough situation in his life, and he needs me to help him. If I don't help give him the financial support that he needs, he won't be able to achieve his dreams. So I am asking you to stand up with me, and support this angel, this incredible gift from God, and donate any money you can to this cause. I know times are tough for everyone, and even for me, but I am starting this donation with a $100. This boy is our future, and I promise you, he won't let you down. :)

All the money raised will be used to fund Phillip's education, healthcare expenses, and more.
