Peyton's most recent update: 12/26/15
Peyton is now back at Scottish Rite, admitted for a spine tumor. We brought her in for lower back pain, only to find out it was another tumor. Our hearts are broken, but Peyton is a fighter. She just came out of surgery and our surgeon said he got it all, AMAZING!! We will be in the hospital a while again though, radiation and possible chemo again, and along with a hospital stay comes the same bills, again. We're still getting some bills from last year along with travel and day to day staying out of our home expenses and so on so any help we can get we surly will appreciate it. We are SO thankful for all the help we were given last year and want to again say a HUGE thank you. We will never be able to say it enough. I will update here along with her Facebook Page Peytons Brain.
Lots of love,
The Barron Family

Peyton is 2 years old and was diagnosed with brain cancer October 21st of 2014. Her type of tumor is an anaplastic ependymoma, grade 3. She went in to the doctor at 11am on the 21st for what we thought was a cold, and we ended up never going home that day. That was the day we found her tumor.  Peyton underwent brain surgery 3 days later, and had a succesful 95% of the tumor removed. The rest, we attacked with 33 rounds of radiation and 2/4 rounds of chemo. She never got the last 2 rounds of chemo, due to becoming very very ill from the medicine and getting pulled from the trial. It's now 6 months since medical intervention, and we are told she is currently stable with the tumor! There is a spot that they have been watching, which they once thought was radiation growth, but after 3 months of following the spot and no sign of change (growth or shrinkage) they are now concluding the spot is radiation changes and that she is considered stable. Which for us is amazing news! We keep up to date as best we can on her Facebook. Thank you EVERYONE for all the help this past year, I can never say thank you enough for all the help you have given our family.
