Pete Scriven Medical Fund

On Monday, May 4, 2015, Pete Scriven fell 20ft off of a lift while working in Seattle. He suffered severe injuries, including a shattered pelvis, a shattered kneecap, two broken feet, and a broken right arm. Thankfully, he is alive and he still has feeling in all his extremities and is not paralyzed. However, the extent of these injuries are going to impact him and his ability to work for many months. He will be wheelchair bound and will require multiple surgeries in order for him to be able to walk again.

For those of you who may not know Pete. He is one of the genuine "good guys"! He has a wonderful sense of humor and is kind, generous, intelligent, and dedicated. He has a work ethic beyond anyone that I have ever met before, working for his company for the past two decades. His love for his wife, Lisa,  and three kids is unlike any other. A family man 110% of the way. He would give the shirt off his back to help anyone at anytime. While in the ER immediately following this accident, he was more concerned about how it would affect those closest to him rather than on the pain at hand.

In addition to the medical bills, surgeries, & rehab he is facing; He is the SOLE financial provider for his family, so his inablility to work could will greatly impact them on many levels. Lisa & Pete shouldn't need to worry about finances at this time. They just need to focus on getting Pete better and walking again. Prior to Pete being able to return home, they will need to make their house accessible for a wheelchair. This means remodeling both the inside and outside of their home to accommodate that. Which is a costly and unexpected expense that is not covered by any insurance.

We ask for your prayers and if you can, please consider donating whatever amount you can, every little bit helps. This accident is one of those things that makes you grateful for every moment you have with your loved ones and to realize that things can change in an instant. Let's work together and help them out and get Pete back on his feet.

Thank you so much.
