Since 2011, Pennsylvania Equality Project, (formerly Marriage Equality for Pennsylvania LLC) has advocated for fair and equal protection under the law for all Pennsylvanians. We seek an end to discrimination in all public accommodations, and an end to the use of conversion therapy as just some of our overall goals.
To achieve those goals, we are seeking $1,000, which is the cost of becoming a 501c3 organization. With Legal Zoom our expenses are...
To that cost is an additional $400 from the IRS. We do not want to leave any funding to chance, so we are anticipating an extra $159 for the Registered Agent Service. Our board members cannot continue to run Pennsylvania Equality Project without additional revenue.
Furthermore, we will soon need to renew our website license. Our annual expenses will be easier to maintain and meet yearly, if we become a fully-fledged non-profit. Your contribution, no matter how much, is appreciated.
We want to participate in events across Pennsylvania to continue to raise awareness. Your help is critically needed at this time.
