Hello family and friends!
I am Paige Lee, a second year business administration student at Florida A&M University from Tampa, Fl. I am competing to be Miss Omega Psi Phi for the Upsilon Psi chapter.
If honored to win this position, I plan to use my platform to accomplish many goals on the campus of FAMU, as well as in the community of Tallahassee. Some of these goals include: having read-ins at local elementary schools, having clothing and food drives on campus, and creating a natural beauty movement on campus. As a former member of the Tampa Alumnae Chapter of Delta G.E.M.S, I understand the importance of mentorship and college preparedness, and I would like to coordinate events with the Omega Lamplighters to help them with things such as dining etiquette and college readiness. I would like to be not only just a face for the fraternity, but a hard worker as well.
My current involvement on campus includes having served as a 2014 Orientation Leader, a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity Inc., a Peer Mentor, and serving as the Vice President for the FAMU chapter of NAACP. I am confident that my current involvement on campus will assist in making connections with other organizations on campus to accomplish these goals and get more students involved.
It is only with your help that will make all of this possible. If I am crowned Miss Omega Psi Phi, I will also receive a substansial scholarship which will aid in my studies at Florida A&M. Any donations to help me fundraise to compete in the pageant would be greatly appreciated and I need to have all funds by April 4th. Thank you so much for your support!
