Repair Ghana's Timoskay School

Donation protected
Hello!  Many of our 6th and 7th grade students at Grandview Middle School have connected with students from Timoskay School Complex in West Ghana, Africa via a pen pal partnership.  Our own 2014 Westonka graduate, Megan Bryan, encouraged the connection as she served from fall 14- spring 15 as a volunteer teacher at the school.

Megan has recently returned to the Westonka area from her volunteer stint and shared that the school recently suffered damage after a rain storm.  The roof and flooring need repairs. Students are currently crammed into the few classrooms that were undamaged.  Donations are needed to fund the repair projects.

The leader of the Timoskay school, Timothy Moses Kainyiah, states on the school Facebook page that it will cost an estimated $5,000 to repair the roof, flooring , plastering, and painting.  He asks for help so that "our dream not die" for the students and their education.

Please consider a donation to help our partner school in Ghana! Thank you!
