Replace Bus For Homeless Shelter

The bus in this video has help us to rescue over a thousand homeless women and children from the streets.  Last week we were driving up a hill and the transmission went out and in the process somehow the crankshaft on the engine broke.  This bus has been our main mode of transportation. We are desperately in need of another one quickly.
Four years ago this last February, two little girls that I will call T age 5 and K age 7 were raped. At the time, within a 50 mile radious of our city there was only enough shelter space for six families and they were all full. Their mom accepted an invitation to stay in a studio apartment with some men she had just met so her daughters would have shelter from the cold. A few days later, the men were arrested and eventually plead guilty to raping her daughters. T and K were my insperation to start the Way of Hope so homeless women and women with children would have a warm and safe place to go. Their mom and I have become good friends. The girls have come a long way in their lifelong journey to recover from this tragic event in their lives. I carry their picture with me everywhere a go. We have to do all we can to prevent this from happening to any other little girls. In addition to the bus, we hope to raise funds for a new and larger trailer (that stores and transports their beds, bedding and belongings), new cots, new storage bags and open a thrift shop to employ women in our program.
