Hi Friends,
So many of you know I live on a 40 foot fishing boat that I was lucky to have come into my life in May 2013. It is the home to myself, my two kitties Ruby and Otis and to my 5 month old puppy Miel.

I was in a 2 year contractor position which ended in November 2014 and I did not think I was going to be without full time work for over 5 months, quickly approaching 6 months and thus I have fallen behind on all my bills, and the most crucial bill of them all are the slip fees that I owe the marina. My boat has been impounded (chained in its berth) and will be issued a lien notice on April 1, 2015 which will allow the marina to legally sell my boat for a cost much under the value of my boat at 30 days from lien notice, so I'm reaching out to my community to help me save my home, my boat, my solace.

I am an incredibly fortunate person in that my friends have humbled me and have agreed to perform a benefit concert to help me SAVE MY BOAT, La Gata del Alma on Sunday April 12th at Il Pirata at 2007 16th Street in San Francisco from 5 - 10pm, doors open at 4:30pm, San Francisco with an all star line up that includes:

I will be auctioning off a bay cruise on my boat for up to 10 people with lunch (weather permitting - I only go out on calm, sunny days) - auction bid will start at $200 - and will be announced at the concert. If you cannot attend the concert and still want to support, you can donate safe and securely through this link.
I am so very grateful of the life I have been blessed with and the supportive community that surrounds me. It is very humbling to be in need and I want to send a special shout out to Vic Castro, Tina Abbaszadeh, Chinine Jacobsen and Suzanne Cortez for your encouragement to really reach out to all of you for help...
