Homeless Magazine in Charleston SC

We are a monthly magazine in Charleston, SC dedicated to helping the homeless earn a living.  We print the magazine and give it to homeless people.  They give it away on the street to the public and ask for a donation ($3 preferred).  They keep all money.  The idea is they get a hand up, not a hand out.  By working with us they can earn money quickly (which raises their self esteem) without having to worry about their background, training, medical history, living arrangements, or any of the other factors that prevent the homeless from working.  Our magazines contains local articles of interest, pictures, vendor profiles, puzzles, advertisements and other lighthearted stories.  We are also committed to being advocates for the homeless and helping to educate the public on this growing problem.  Lowcountry Herald website
