#BradCan Ride Again

I am a L1 fracture burst, spinal fused 4 above L1 and 4 below L1. 22 pins hold 2 plates that over lap 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. July 3, 3:35pm 2014 I pushed hard down one of the Downhill trails installed on the West side of the resort, by Snow Summit Resort, Big Bear Lake CA. I jumped a 30' table top and was looking to go bigger, to see how much I could do. Just a few seconds after I landed that bigger jump, I went over my bars on a very small 4' h 6' length jump. Not sure what happened! I knew I had broken my back right away. A feeling that I will never forget. I laid there for a minute or 2 when a young man jumped in and started to inform the 1st responders. Way to go young man. I think his name was Cody.

I have lived a life of over 20 years of extreme sports and have been able to get up every time. I have been knocked out so many times, I cant count but this was different, this was really bad. I started Skiing when I was just 4 years old. I have a deep passion for the snow and Snow Boarding along with all forms of Mountain Biking, which have placed me in so many risks that I have walked away from. Now post 8 months from my injury, I will Pushrim my life back together. With my new friends here and my newly seated position with Pushrim.com I will reach out to new, old and other related causes to help those that will fall or need help to Pushrim their life back together. What a wonderful world we live in! It's amazing that foundations have been established already, Like Triumph, and Pushrim for extreme support!  I would like to help support others who may or may not have been as fortunate as myself through their hard times.  Using the same passion that I have for my extreme sports, directed towards as many souls as possible. Help me get back on my feet again, in order to one day help others get back to their feet again as well.
This has been a long hard journey but with my faith and help and support of others I will succeed in recovery!
