Operation Wild Asparagus is a farm-to-table concept for jams, jellies, pickles and baked goods. I am trying to raise the necessary funds to buy bulk supplies for larger batches so I can market to Farmers Markets and end consumers - all my friends and family!
Operation Wild Asparagus is a way that I can create cash flow and income for my family, working around my fibromyalgia and "bad days", and allows me to let my culinary creativity run wild in the kitchen while providing delicious and unique jams, jellies, glazes and other yummies.
Georgia allows for Cottage Food Providers, but licenses, fees and certifications will cost around $500. I need to raise an additional $500 for the jars, rings, lids and ingredients to process my first large batch of jellies for a Farmers Market. I have an Angel Investor willing to contribute $500 if I can raise matching funds.
Jellies include flavors like Onion Herb, Jalapeno Cherry, Lemon Honey Ginger, and Blueberry Basil. I am producing Red Hot Christmas PIckles, Bread and Butter Pickles, and Dill Pickles, as well as an ever-changing variety of Gluten Free/Nightshade Free baked goods: cookies, brownies, breads and more.
