Amazing work done by my contractor, Max Sherrill of MMAXX Construction. I had a BLAST yesterday helping Max and some other great help lay out the concrete for the bike track at the Headstart. I got to do things I have never done before, and the experience was priceless. I have posted several pictures on facebook and will try to do the same here. Thanks to those who have donated to help me meet the need for the concrete. I am still in great need for phase two of my project, which is to install shelving units inside the building and supply two new computers for them. SO the fundraising continues!

So today we had a skid steer loader delivered and it scraped the shape out of the grass for the bike path. Then we ended up NOT leaving grass in the middle of the oval, but scraping that as well, and there will be sand in the middle of the oval track, as they do not have a sandbox either. Got the wood shaping stuff that forms the oval all complete and are ready to the concrete to be poured early tomorrow at 7:00 am. Still needing funds though...Loving this project!

Hi Everyone,
I am raising money in order to complete my Eagle Project, Operation Headstart!  I have volunteered over 200 hours at the Headstart here in Seymour, TN, and have grown very fond of the kids and the staff there. On their playground, among other toys, the kids have several bicycles and other riding toys that can help them develop their motor skills.  However, their entire playground is grass, making it very difficult, if not near impossible, to use these riding toys.  My project is that I am having a bicycle loop built around the playground, as well as building and providing organizational space inside the building by way of new shelving units and cubbie spaces.  I am also purchasing a couple of new computers for the children to use in the classroom.
I appreciate any donation you give!  Thank you for supporting me on my road to Eagle!
