Founded in 2011, Virginia Beach Justice Initiative ’s mission is to bring an end to sex trafficking by empowering the residents of Hampton Roads through education, awareness, advocacy and prevention.
We partner with credible organizations that are involved in the work of eradicating sex trafficking and bringing restoration to former victims.
Now, they are survivors.
Through our victim advocacy program, we have established a comprehensive region-wide program to identify and assist victims from the time of rescue.
Key victim services include:
· Housing and relocation
· Clinical counseling
· Clothing and essential items
When we begin working with a victim, he or she often chooses a “blessing name” for security and safety reasons, and to fully embrace a new future and a new sense of identity.
In honor of three of these young women, Hope, Charity and Grace, we are thrilled to announce this opportunity to make a difference by giving. All proceeds will benefit victim services of housing, counseling, and clothing/supplies.
