Ecological & Social Justice System

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Trevor Rose, I suffer from musculoskeletal injuries including spinal damage, and for the past 25 years I've been obsessed with research & development centred around new socio-economic, legal & political systems, based on ecological & social justice & sustainability, from a non-species biased perspective (I'll explain all that in detail at the end).

As I write this summary:
- I've just lost the use of my 5 year old laptop;
- I have no income to pursue my projects;
- I receive no assistance for musculoskeletal rehab;
- I've spent the last few years of my life desperately trying to avoid homelessness (which I've experienced for months at a time);
- I've been without a car for a year since my old vehicle finally died (as I couldn't afford to maintain or repair it);
- I have very few possessions left in the world, and while I'm still mobile, I suffer from periodic (& sometimes relentless & excruciating) pain, which in turn leads to depression.

I have one primary passion in this world, which is my projects, but I'm struggling to take them forward due to resource starvation.

So in detail, depending on how much money I receive, the things I would buy are as follows:
- a new laptop capable of running a suite of design & development software;
- additional software licenses & online services;
- a NAS (Network Attached Storage);
- 2nd hand vehicle;
- clothing & other essentials;
- regular rehab therapies (3-5 years to regain mobility & strength to take pressure off spine);
- beyond the above, I guess I would then get my own place where I didn't have to share with anyone else, so that I could have privacy & focus for my work, and I would also travel to meet with experts to get their assistance on various aspects of the work.

This list of resources would basically (over time) free me of pain & discomfort, thus also enable me to do more regular work, gain momentum, and allow me to complete Stage 0 and part of Stage 1 for my big vision; which would then (hopefully) put me in the position of leverage required to complete Stage 1 & move on to Stage 2.

The Vision: Ok, now that's a big concept I introduced you to at the start ... so in as few words as possible, let me break it down for you.

What I am working on basically equates to a completely new framework for human civilisation, in which poverty does not exist at all, nor does the concept of property, yet everyone lives with the maximum amount of comfort possible, the developmention of art, science & technology accelerates to its theoretical maximum, and our impact on the world around us is minimally harmful, and maximally beneficial, in both ecological & social terms.

It is also a system in which other species of organisms get an equal say in what goes on in the world, in the respect that their lives are given value NOT relative to their utility to humans alone, but instead relative to their direct and indirect utility to all species including themselves.

NOTE: this is not some kind of Utopia in which problems don't exist, merely a world in which the utterly unnecessary ones we create as the unintended consequences of our existing framework for civilisation, gradually disappear over time.

In practical terms, the success of this vision would free many people from debt slavery & allow them to focus on their dreams & passions, while contributing back to society in the way that most suits their personality knowledge & skills.

Ultimately, it would have the long term side effect of modifying human behaviour for the better, by changing the motivational basis for all human endeavour.

How is this possible?
Because the fact is, we no longer need the systems of civilisation as they stand, in fact quite to the contrary we need to get rid of those systems as they're driving destruction ... think about it this way:
- IF a resource is not scarce,
- THEN so long as our methods of harvest, storage, processing, distribution & disposal/recycling are sustainable ...
- WHY should anyone go without?

... think about it: there exists no possible reason except for control, and the conclusion we can draw when we look at the planet's capacities (when undamaged), is that poverty is 100% manufactured, and has been so pretty much ever since the industrial revolution.

This is why it has taken me 25 years to get to this point, including more than 20 years of combined formal & informal tertiary level study, research & contemplation ... it took me 10 years in fact just to figure out the right questions to ask (which I'd never have achieved without the help of a very good & brilliant academic friend) ... and I've also been developing it based on the principle that unless my solutions could handle any & every worst case scenario going wrong simultaneously & to maximum detrimental impact, then I would not accept them as being valid solutions.

Now arguably not everything will go wrong and to that degree, but the idea was to develop a system so robust that it wouldn't ever break under any conditions. Which is actually impossible, but as it's only a hypothetical construct to improve the design & strategy, that fact is irrelevant.

Of course, the thing I could never account for is the impact of my own life circumstances ... this obsession has been the means by which I stayed sane through countless challenges, misfortunes & other hurdles ... it gave me a focus while I was at the 100+ jobs I've done in my life, most of which bored me to tears, and were neither reliable sources of income nor particularly financially rewarding ... and I've now exhausted every last resource I had at my disposal, with limited capacity (due to my injuries & circumstances) to earn income in the short term (without unacceptable risk to my health & wellbeing) in order to dig myself out of this situation.

There are no words to describe how thankful I would be if I achieved my fund raising goals here ... but ultimately it isn't even really about me, it's about the fact that we have a structure for civilisation which is driving species extinction & ecosystem collapse at such a terrifying rate of acceleration, and yet our so called leaders appear to be absolutely clueless as to how utterly inadequate their responses are.

I will leave you with these final thoughts:
- have you noticed how all the scientific models predicting environmental calamity have turned out to be underestimations? Well there's a reason for that ... but without going in to the reason, I'll tell you that I've not yet once been surprised when it happens, and that's who you'd be supporting, a guy who has had the good fortune to deprogram himself from the brainwashing which blinds us to what is going on & why, and to simultaneously wrap my brain around the philosophical, sociological & natural sciences which tell us how to identify the root (rather than superficial) causes, and then design solutions that actually work at that fundamental level.

Worst case scenario: I'm wrong, I publish my findings, and this contributes to someone else discovering the solution ... but I don't think I am, because again, it isn't about me, it's about the information, and all I am doing is humbly following the path it shows me ... which is what real science is all about.

Please help me by donating what you can & passing this on to your friends, family & associates.

WEBSITE: Unfortunately as I cannot get online beyond the use of my mobile device at the moment, and as I'm struggling to cope with so many other issues that need to take priority, I haven't been able to update the material I published about a year ago ... So it's a little out of date, but if you'd like to read a bit about these projects & concepts, go to www.open-empire.org which should at least give you a general picture, but everything there was written while I was living in very non-ideal circumstances, suffering a lot of pain, under a lot of pressure, and also suffering bouts of extreme depression ... So it's certainly not the best description I'm capable of now a year or so later, and a tad out of date, but it's all I've got to publicly show until I can get the assistance I need & publish the new materials I've been working on (which fortunately I backed up before the laptop died).
