Odyssey of the Mind State Champions

This Odyssey of the Mind team is trying to raise money for airfare, food & housing at the World Finals being held at Michigan State University.   The team is comprised of Bella Lipman, Lauren Kelleher, Crimson Figueroa, Hannah Hosier, Kristina Adams, Taleah Knowles, and Erin Russell.  All of these students started on the team as Hidden Valley students but now 4 of them are in middle school.  

Odyssey of the Mind is a GREAT program which teaches creative problem-solving, as teams create scripts, sets, costumes, and technological wonders by themselves under the guidance of their coach.  For more information, visit www.odysseyofthemind.com   This year, the team solved the problem titled, "Silent Movie."

Most of this team made the trip to World Finals last year, and the cost of that trip has wiped out the savings accounts of many of our families.  The trip gives these students the opportunity to meet other team members from China, Germany, Poland, Mexico, South Korea, and others, as well as teams across the United States.  We thank the many supporters that helped the team get to Iowa last year.  We hope you can help us get the team to Michigan this year!
