Katie Bug's Medical Fund!

My beloved cousin Katie has had a rough year already! She was sick around Christmas but like so many of us do, she didn't think much of it. She took her DayQuil and continued to work hard and be there for her friends and family. As it turns out, her sickness was nothing to back burner! She had a Strep infection... and because it went untreated for so long it spread systemically throughout her body. She ended up with multiple abcesses, she was life flighted from St Al's in Boise Idaho to the University Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah. In total, she underwent SEVEN surgeries including painful skin grafts and procedures to clean out the infection. She spent almost a full month in the ICU, including almost a week in a medically induced coma. 

The good news is, she is on the road to recovery!! This is wonderful news and the doctors think she will make a full recovery...

BUT

 When all of this began she had no medical insurance and she has months of physical therapy to look forward to before she can even think of going back to work. 

Needless to say she is in a rough spot financially with medical bills and regualr bills just piling up day after day.
