Day n the life of a homeless person

The youth group at Troy United Methodist Church will be spending the day living the life of a homeless person.  During this day we will do community service projects for those in need.  The projects include making meals and feeding people at the local soup kitchen, picking up garbage, buying groceries for a family with no income, along with several other projects to help the students learn more about this epidemic that is sweeping the nation.  The youth will  be doing this all while fasting for the entire 24 hours.  Any money over the cost of food for the soup kitchen and groceries for the family will be used for local charites in our area, such as backpack buddies (provides school supplies for kids in need) and local mission work.
