Police Officer Doug Barney

Police Officer Doug Barney of the Unifed Police Department in Holladay, Utah, was shot and killed while responding to a traffic accident. Upon arriving at the scene, Officer Barney attempted to make contact with a male and female leaving the area and was then fired upon by the male subject.

Officer Barney was an 18-year veteran of the department. He is survived by his wife and three children.

Fallen will provide immediate financial support to the survivors of our law enforcement heroes killed in the line of duty.

ALL funds up to $100,000 will be provided to an officer's survivors. Any excess funds will be provided to survivors of other officers that are killed in the line of duty in the future.
