Tulip Time 5K/10K Race

Addiction directly touches 1 of every 4 people in our society today … but it indirectly touches all of us! Addictions destroy individuals, tear apart families and threaten the entire community. So it is with a great sense of urgency that OAR asks you to join us in raising awareness of substance use disorders and the treatment that is so desperately needed on the road to recovery.
OAR (Ottagan Addictions Recovery) is a non-profit organization providing a variety of addictions services to our West Michigan community for the past 44 years. Our outpatient, residential and family services have helped to facilitate a new beginning for over 60,000 people since its inception. We have the expertise and experience to help hurting people on their journey to recovery!
OAR Board, Staff and friends will be running or walking the race:
- As a tribute to the many people for whom Recovery Has Become Reality.
- To remember the countless others who still struggle with addictions.
All funds will be used to provide help, hope and healing to those who do not have the means to pay for the services they receive.
This will be our second year participating in the Tulip Time Run (5K or 10K), and it looks like we will easily surpass the amount of participation we had last year. Our goal is to raise $5,000! Your donation will directly support those impacted by addiction, and the first $1,000 raised will be matched by an anonymous donor.
Our passion is to promote the benefits of prevention and treatment … we hope we can count on your help!
