My name is Mark Cotnam and I am trying to complete a driver's training program I've been working on called The Active Motoring Program. This program is deemed good enough to be curriculim in Ontario/Canada High Schools. The goal is to then go national and expand into the USA & England.
In July 2009, I was almost killed in a single vehicle bicycling accident due to wrong signage by the government agency responsible for the bike path. Ironically, I have over $250,000 training in cycling, motorcycling and driving incl. training and racing.
The resultant lawsuit in which I am self represented has stalled after 5+ years. The intent of the JUST ICE Dept. is to starve me out, i. e. to death, which has almost worked. In 72 months I have been able to work just 28 days due to the effects of this accident.
All funds will go to the Driver's Training Program, which benefits all citizens, with the exception of a small portion that will be used to survive and win my lawsuit. This win and money raised by crowd funding will then fund the Program until it becomes self-financing.. Practically, money changes everything, a little goes a long way. I am a maths Genius, a surviver, a marketer, accountant, financer and ex-banker. Still with no income virtually nothing prospers.
This request is sincere and funds raised will benefit all: motorists, passengers, pedestrians, cyclists, and even public transport users. We all have places to go, I'm hoping this will help me, help others get there safely.
