Henfield Haven CIO - Help our Haven

Please  join us in making a difference. We are raising money in aid of  the Henfield Haven and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to the local community.

The Henfield Haven is the Community Support Centre for the village and local area. It provides a range of vital services, from high-needs dementia care, through carer support, social clubs, therapies, counselling and freshly prepared meals and snacks.

The Haven offers the opportunity to combat loneliness and rural isolation. Loneliness can be so debilitating and The Haven is perfect for people living on their own; the Haven Café is a great social centre.

The Henfield Haven CIO was recognised in June 2020 with the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest possible award for a voluntary organisation, equivalent to the MBE. It is fully deserved testimony to the amazing group of volunteers who make the Haven what it is - and will be again.

We plan to reintroduce high needs care, including customers living with dementia, and respite for their carers, just as soon as regulations and safety considerations allow.
