Student Nurse Volunteering In Africa

Hello! I need your help, so that I can help! Next year I plan to travel to Tanzania in Africa with a company called 'Work the World', so that I can volunteer in a childrens hospital, where I will care for children who have life threatening illnesses such as AIDs, malnourishment and a deadly tropical diseases, just to name a few.

I am a second year nursing student and I currently volunteer in a hospital in Victoria and with St John Ambulance, but I would love to have the oppotunity to give back to the world and volunteer overseas.

Your donations will go towards the fees required to ensure that I am supervised when volunteering in the hospital, to ensure that I provide safe care to all the patients overseas. If I am lucky enough, any extra donations that I receive, over my target, will be used to purchase toys for the childrens hospital.

Your support for this matter would mean the world to me, and for the people over in Tanzania. For anybody generous enough to donate to this cause, I will send you a personal thank-you postcard outlining my journey in Tanzania and I would be more than happy to provide as many pictures as you like, so you can see exactly how your money was of benefit to countless underprivileged people.
