Noahs Ark Fund: Blake

Hello Everyone!!

I have to tell you about a little boy I met at my sons orphanage. He is on my mind almost daily. His alias name is "Blake" and he is a 3 1/2 year old little boy with spina bifida in an Eastern Europe orphanage. I got to spend so much time with him on my travels to our son. I have never been so touched by a little person as much as I have been by him! He is so funny and articulate. He is in an orphanage that speaks English and the native language and I was able to spend many hours talking with this little guy. He was so smart and often spoke in the 3rd person! He also broke my heart on numerous occasions when he would tell me that his "mama and papa were not coming for him". It made my heart jump to my throat everytime I heard him speak with such certainity that no one wanted him. He has a spinal defect that has left him with diagnosis that most people are scared off by, but if they met him they would see his diagnosis disappears when your around him.

I had brought my new son some shoes that were too big for him so I gave them to Blake. he was so excited that they fit he said "Look I got new shoes, now I can walk"! He wore them everyday after!!

I took him for walks, held him, played with him and really just fell in love with him! I prayed a family would come for him, if one didnt I would have to go back for him!!I believe he'll learn to ambulate to the best of his abilities and go off to college and live a great life.

I vowed I would see this child into a family and as I made my final trip to the orphanage knowing I would have to leave him, I cried. I cried because I loved him and wanted to bring him home as well. One time I was holding him and one of the sisters said "Denene is going to go to America and find you a family". He looked at me at put his hands in a praying position.

I believe God heard his little prayer because within the week a family from North Carolina began to pursue adopting him!! The legal fees for Blake is the same as Noah $20,000.

I would love to raise half of that amount and send it directly to Blakes agency in his name. This money will be in a fund for him and can only be used for his legal fees.

I know you would ask why? why should we give money for a child that none of us are directly adopting. Why dont the family going for him just raise the money on their own? The reason is because this gift is for Blake. Its for every time he felt unloved or he watched other children get chosen and leave the orphanage. its for him to know one day that many, many people wanted to see him into a family. We cared, we heard, we helped!!

I am in direct contact with the family pursuing Blake and know that who ever sponsors him will get updates on his journey home! The family has met agency and country requirements and have paid his commit fees. They are working hard on saving, fundraising and preparing their sweet family for my angel boy.

100% of anything raised goes directly to Blakes agency account and can only be used for him. I am in close contact with his agency as I have become friends with most of them thru my adoption of our son Noah.

there is always a cause to donate to, but more often than not you dont know who personally benefits from your donation. In this case we know thespecific boy who benefits from these funds! Please help me!
