Help Homeschooling Family

A dear friend is really struggling to make ends meet and meet the needs of her two homeschooled sons during a rough divorce. She has had to take out many loans and is currently applying to grad school in addition to homeschooling, and needs a boost to get off of her feet. In making the decision to keep the children near their father, they are paying a very high rent, and her mother is moving in with them to help with childcare and expenses.

I am starting this fund in the hopes that we can get any extra support to them possible. This is an amazing, devoted mama who has set aside her career and earning potential for the last 8.5 years in order to give her sons the best she could, a decision she made with her husband together. They are paying the price for that now, and she is making every step towards figuring out how to support her family in a healthy, sustainable, and fulfilling way.

It is worth mentioning that this awesome friend is pretty resistant to asking for and accepting help (aren’t we all?), so the need is pretty big in order for her to let me do this ;)

Let’s come together as a community. Each of us contributing a small amount makes a huge impact in the life of this family. I have set the goal to repay the debt she has had to go into in order to secure housing, and also to cover 1/2 month of rent. Any funds received will go directly towards loans, food, and housing only. Every little bit really does help!
