Hi friends,
We're currently out on the road in the first week of our No Names & Empty Hearts Tour.
Around 11:30 pm last night while driving through Virginia we had a back tire on our trailer blow out. The whole wheel well came off and we had to careen through highway traffic while dragging our entire trailer. Luckily we have an incredibly experienced crew with us on this tour, and our driver Ryan was able to safley pull us over on the side of the road. We're happy to have our lives.
The trailer was absolutely mangled- wheel well destroyed and back axel warped. All gear inside appears to be undamaged which we are so thankful for. Trying to stop a huge vehicle towing thousands of pounds on a dime also did damage to our van - which is now undrivable - and has completely immobilized us.
This is the kind of stuff that can break spirits. Touring is full of extreme highs and lows and spikes stress levels insurmountably - events like last night make you want to crawl into bed and give up.
But we're not giving up. We absolutely love what we're doing - getting to meet you guys and share our music with you trumps anything that might happen to us. We are going to finish this tour strong and can't wait to play each show.
That being said, any support you feel inclined to contribute would be appreciated beyond words. We didn't want to set any of kind of donation goal as we couldn't even imagine asking any more of our incredible fans. All money collected from this will go to relieving the financial stress of getting our van and trailer fixed, as well as make sure our outstanding crew are recieving their well deserved dues.
This will not stop us. We love you guys more than anything and are so proud and estatic to be back out on the road again. Bad luck aside, we will pick ourselves up and get right back at it.
Any donation will recieve a thank you phone call from us immediatly, so please leave your number for us to be able to get ahold of you. We'll also be thinking of other ways to thank you for your generosity.
Thank you for allowing us to what we do. We tour to meet the people that make touring for us possible. Humbled doesn't even begin to describe how it feels to have the amount of love and support that you show us every day.
