Now heres the man who you want to  get to know!!....
Brendans story..
the challenges, the changes and the journey down this road to recovery that were joining him on..... //

Hi friends!

I am really, really touched that so many of you have reached out to me in the last few days and offered your help. I wanted to give you all an opportunity to help in this way if you wish, at this fundraising site and I wanted to give you guys an update.

This December while snowboarding in the Blackcomb terrain park, I had a very high impact fall and broke my back. I couldn't feel or move my legs. I was quickly airlifted to the Whistler Hospital and then airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital for surgery.

I woke up in a world of pain beyond what I had ever known. Five vertebrae are now linked with titanium screws and rods. I have been assured that the operation went well, although when I asked if I would be able to walk again, they said "We dont know."

I'm a great deal more optimistic than that. I say YES, I will walk and run and dance and skip and do kart wheels.

However, with no additonal insurance to help me get through the next two or three years of healing it could be a great deal more difficult than i has to be

With a little help from a lot of people, I'd say I've got a great chance to be walking again.

If you'd like more updates, I made a site with a blog

http://www.brendansepiclife.weebly.com/

Thanks so much for all the care and support and most importantly the love you've given me. I cannot thank you enough. This has been very special. Bless you.

This experience has been very challenging on so many levels. I've attached a video of a very welcome surprise that happened the morning of Day 55

Hahahaaa when I saw these toes wiggling, I cried like a lost child had returned after months of being away. It was really wonderful :)

Thank You guys for your continued support. I cant imagine what this would have been like without all my absolutely amazing friends!!! Bless you guys every single one of you with all my heart. Thank You.
