HOWARD UNIVERSITY RETURNS TO NEWARK

Howard University Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a  service learning program designed to connect students to distressed communities to expose students to concepts of social justice, urban education, and community development to improve communities through direct outreach and have long term impact Nationally and Internationally.

Newark, New Jersey is a NEW Site for these students and the goal is for the students to have a great experience and be a model for other high school and College students in NEWARK.  Over 50 students will be coming to Newark to mentor, tutor, complete workshops and be a helping hand in the schools and the community Centers for 7 Days.

Their presence will give other young people hope so that they can see that going to College is possible.  We need your assistance to make this a great experience for these students. Calling all Howard Alumni and others who believe in Newark and Education!!! Donate, Donate , Donate!!!!
