My name is Nico Wilbur and I am 14 years old. I am raising money so that I can be a part of my club volleyball league.
I need help because I cannot afford the costs of traveling, equipment, uniform, and tournament fees. I am only in 8th grade and cannot hold a job yet, so raising money is a struggle. I have a 4.0 GPA and I know I have the perseverance and potential to do great things both athletically and academically. Only hard work, dedication and practice from myself will pay back what you have given to me.
My parents no longer live together and they must split all the costs of my volleyball league. I want a way to repay them for all they've had to go through and all they've done for me.
I would love to play volleyball in High School, but the competition is tough and the tryouts are hard work. With this opportunity to play club, I will have an advantage and a better chance of making the team. I want to continue to play throughout High School and College. With this experience, I will also get chances for scholarships and opportunities otherwise not offered to young girls in my position. Thank you for your consideration and I will continue to thrive through volleyball, as well as giving you updates on my recent tournaments!
