On Saturday May 20th 2017 the family and friends of Nicholas Trepanier aka "White Chocolate" had been informed of his passing.

It is with great sadness and emotions that I write this story from my heart. This has been a unexpected and traumatic experience for all family and friends close to Nick.

Nick was enjoying a beautiful Grand Bend May 24 long weekend  with life long friends at a cottage near Bluewater/Bayfield area. Saturday morning he was enjoying an amazing view posting cherishing snap chat videos of music, gorgeous weather and great friends. During the day they shared laughs, beverages and memories that will last a life time. Nick knew how to be apart of the party as well make those around him enjoy themselves more than anyone ever could imagine how to.  Around 10:00pm friends were gathered around a camp fire embracing each others company and having jokes as anyone would have as long as Nick was around.
Nick and one of his life long friends were playing around when his friend had realized that Nick was turning blue and no longer responsive. Nick was fortunate to have a friend close by who knew how to perform CPR and had studied it at Fanshawe College, as the EMS was on their way to the cottage, they did all they could to try to keep Nick alive and become responsive. The EMS had then arrived and were unsuccessful in reviving Nick and a man we know and love was gone.
Unfortunately a series of unexpected and unexplainable events happened which lead to Nicks passing.

Medical examiners and trained professionals have done a series of tests and are still trying to figure out the cause of Nicks passing. As we have ruled out alot of assumptions, health concerns, and other factors we are at lost for words on the cause of Nicks death. We are awaiting a series of tests that are going to take months to complete.

Being 36 years old and still very young this has come as a complete shock to his family, friends and the community who knew and loved Nick.

Nick was born in Wallaceburg and moved to London at the age of 1. Nicholas was raised in 1481 Limberlost and that community was a part of who he was.
He was raised by his mother Lily Trepanier who passed away June 21 2012. Nick had lived with his Mom for his whole life until her passing. He took care of her, provided for her and loved her with every inch of his body. The past almost 5 years since her passing has been very hard on Nick. He has struggled with it on a daily basis and something that was never truly healed in his heart.
Nick aka "White Chocolate" was a man with a heart of Gold and sense of humor that everyone wish they would encounter. Nick would have friends and family laughing until it hurt. He loved his family, friends, drawing, the raps, his community, music, video games, basketball, and being  around those he loved the most.

Being an unexpected death and traumatic experience for someone who was only 36 years old,

The family is pulling together all that we possibly can to make this a memorable expereience so we can lay the man we know and love to rest.

If you are able to contribute anything to help with a celebration of life for Nick, it would be greatly appreciated beyond words.

If we surpass our goal the remainder of the funds will be donated to the community and children of 1481 Limberlost in Nicholas Trepanier Name.
