ONE TEAM - building the foundation
Northern Guilford Youth Football is a community non-profit organization that offers the opportunity for youth in our community to learn the game of football and cheer. We are working to allow our youth to grow as members of Northern Guilford and future Nighthawks, learn teamwork and to grow as student-athletes. For us to accomplish our goals we need to outfit our athletes with the latest and safest equipment for competition. We are looking to replace helmets and shoulder for our athletes for this upcoming season. Funds will also be used to replace game pants. We appreciate all of the support and donations that will allow us to have the best youth football program in the area.
As a "feeder" organization to Northern Guilford High School, we recognize that while many will aspire to one day compete scholastically for the Nighthawks, the vast majority will eventually become future leaders in our community. Our goal is to simply use football as a vehicle to instill the character traits for success and fulfill our mission.
Northern Guilford Youth Football Mission:
Make every effort to make sure that every child with the desire to participate gets the opportunity to play or cheer. Northern Guilford Youth Football is committed to instilling Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, Teamwork, Discipline, Sportsmanship, Respect, Leadership, Trust and Commitment in our athletes. Northern Guilford Youth Football believes these values and virtues are important to their growth and to them becoming active members of our community. Northern Guilford Youth Football will instill our athletes the challenge of competition, the joy of victory, the reality of defeat, the importance of commitment and the spirit of community. Northern Guilford Youth Football recognizes the importance of academic achievement among the athletes that will prepare them for the challenges of high school and collegiate environments. These goals will be achieved through organizing our dedicated volunteers, caring parents, and business associates who wish to partner with our great youth football program.
As a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, a Statement of Contribution can be furnished for any individual/corporation requesting such.
