Renovate Girls Locker Room

The Ridgefield-Danbury High School Girls Hockey team needs your help:  the girls locker room is in need of a renovation.  The dated space is cramped and cold and lacks ventilation (have you ever smelled a hockey bag, let alone 20?!).





The girls (and their gear) are literally piled on top of each other and barely have any place to sit.




But there is hope!

Through fundraising, some "DIY" dads, and a few extremely generous benefactors, the boys hockey team now has a beautifully renovated locker room.  The players have actual lockers, space to change, and ventilation.






The renovation of the boys locker room included elements the girls room won't need (a separate coach's office, audio-visual equipment, and more lockers, all custom-stained). We, the girls' Boosters, are hoping to provide the girls an equally decent, functional space as well.

The girls will continue to fundraise, but we know we need help to reach our goal.

Your donation will help pay for:

* demolition of existing space
* purchase and installation of ventilation system
* updating heating system
* construction, painting, and installation of lockers
* new lighting and flooring
* repainting of room

Please consider helping our girls so that they and future hockey teams can enjoy a respectable locker room for years to come.
