Equip more people to be the help young people need

Somewhere right now a young person needs you.
Nathan Jones trading as TalkThrough provides training and resources around mental health, wellbeing and pastoral care mainly for those in the church and seeks to equip youth workers, parents and churches to be the help young people need.
Talk Through is the work and Ministry of Nathan Jones launched in 2018. I have spent 25 years in youth work and pastoral care in young people. 25 years ago I established a mental health charity called Teens in Crisis. I now work freelance and I have set up TalkThrough because I want to equip as many people including parents, youth workers and organisations that work with young people to offer the best mental health support they can.
I am aiming that TalkThrough will become self funding. As a sole trader I do charge people for the work I deliver but not every aspect of ministry pays nor can everyone pay. I am exploring the benefits of developing TalkThrough in to a charity.
I am really passionate about ensuring young people in the UK get the help they need and because people have asked how they can support me I have set up this page.
I am trying to raise £2000 a month to support the work and this funding will help fund my time to:
* Build the business and enable me to spend time making the work of TalkThrough known.
* Write new courses and keep existing courses updated
* Enable me to invest time into other projects that can be developed to support young people
* Develop a dedicated online directory / information service that will support youth workers to know how to access help for young people anywhere in the UK.
* Spend time networking, developing and collaborating with Mental Health and Youth Work Forums, Projects and Charities across the UK.
* Provide courses at a reasonable price for people wanting to receive training many of whom will be volunteers who are unpaid for their work with young people.
