Help to rebuild a school in Nepal

Please help enlightened globetrekker to rebuild a school in Nepal.

This school and entire village of Kaule were devastated by the April earthquakes, rendering all uninhabitable, and forcing the people to all live in tents. In addition, then the monsoons came, and swallowed up any last bit of infrastructure through mudslides, landslides, and floods. Their school was destroyed in the earthquake.

Last month I visited this school and the beautiful village people in this town, and I vowed to rebuild their school for their children.  All children deserve an education, and we as a global human family should not allow people to suffer from natural disasters and not lend a human hand.

This is an enlightened globetrekker humanitarian project, in conjuncton with the local Nepal-based German nonprofit organization called Kaule e.V.-Organisation for Socially Sustainable Agro-Projects. Kaule eV website

We need to raise a minimum of $5,000 to begin the rebuild. Kaule eV has agreed to match whatever enlightened globetrekker raises. Together, this total will fully fund a new primary school for this village.

The official name of this school is Shree Kaule Devi Primary School, and it is located about an hour outside of Kathmandu in a very rural Himalayan foothill village. The budget I have been provided by the school leaders and village heads is provided below, and is calculated in rupees, totaling $10,000 for materials. $2000 in labor will be provided by the villagers. Our deadline is November 1, 2015.

Please consider a strong donation for this project, and please share with interested people and organizations and parties to help make a difference in Nepal's destruction.

Also, if you would like to be a part of the building team in Nepal, please contact [email redacted] for details. All expenses are paid by enlightened globetrekker, you would only need to purchase plane ticket into Kathmandhu. Also please contact me if you are interested in volunteer teaching in this school once it is built.

Another way you may help is by purchasing an enlightened globetrekker Nepalese mala bead necklace, of which 100% of proceeds get applied to this campaign. Purchase Nepal mala bead necklaces here.

Thank you so much for your consideration.
