Nepal Earthquake Medical Relief

Nepal has been seriously devastated by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred on Saturday, 25th April 2015. Already more than 5,200 people have died, and nearly 9,500 have been injured.
While the destruction of many homes as well as cultural and religious heritage sites have been widely covered on national and international news, the condition of hospitals treating victims is less obvious.
Madheshi Community in Victoria (MCV) Inc. has been contacted by Dr. Anil Das and Prof. Dr. Deepak Prakash Mahara, Executive Director of T.U. Teaching Hospital - a Not For Profit hospital situated in Kathmandu which has been treating the patients affected by the earthquake - requesting for medical instruments required for operation, medicine or cash to replenish the medical supplies in order to be able to continue the health services in full scale.
MCV is hoping to raise $15,000, which will be sent to T.U. Teaching Hospital to procure medical supplies.
MCV has been approached by various organisations, communities and friends asking how they can help. Your contribution of $25 or more will help us raise this much needed medical relief.
