Nemo's Network

NEMO is a handsome 2-3 year old rescue that is a pure boxer or boxer/bulldog mix. Nemo was dropped off at a shelter in Ohio and spent a month wishing to be adopted. Open Arms Rescue of WNY arranged a transport of Nemo to Western New York. Nemo found himself being loved by his wonderful foster family.  His foster family saw the trouble he had moving around and Nemo went for a checkup. The family received horrible news in which Nemo had the diagnosis of hip dysplasia in both hips. Since Nemo is such a well behaved, trained and loveable dog we questioned why a family would surrender him. Well I think the vet gave us the answer. The surgery Nemo needs cost $8,000.00.

Anyone who has met Nemo would not question why we are raising money for his surgery. For those who have not met Nemo let me tell you why you should consider donating. Nemo is a young dog who has many years ahead of him. If he doesn't have surgery he will eventually not be able to walk and be in constant pain.  In the short time he has been with his rescue he has already brought joy, happiness and unconditional love. His first family gave up on him, but we will not give up on Nemo.  Please don't give up on Nemo either! Please consider making a donation. Thank you!
