All donations are welcome, regardless of the level; however, there are donation reward packages available for those who would like to donate at a larger level, or for those who are interested in becoming a main event sponsor. About Nor Cal Drag Racing
Nor Cal Drag Racing and the Nor Cal Drag Racing Club is dedicated to keeping Northern California drag strips, and the sport of Northern California drag racing alive. The owners of Nor Cal Drag Racing, Dwight Callaway Sr. and Dwight Callaway Jr., are firmly opposed to the idea of illegal street racing and live by the motto…race the strip, not the street.
In order to encourage racers to race the strip, Nor Cal Drag Racing created the Nor Cal Drag Racing Club. This club is currently on the 2015 schedule at Redding Dragstrip, in Redding, CA, to host several drag racing challenges that offer racers the opportunity to win money in return for participation.
Current events scheduled this year are the Nor Cal Drag Racing RT Challenge (5/9, 6/27, 7/11, 7/25, 8/15, 9/5 9/26, 10/24, and 11/7), and the Nor Cal Drag Racing 60' Challenge (7/11 and 11/7). These events are NOT bracket events. These events are designed to create a fair and even playing field for racers of all levels to participate. All events require a $10 buy-in from participants with cash awards paid out at the rate of 100%. The total pay-out is based upon the number of participants and sponsorships for each scheduled event.

What is the purpose of this GoFundMe Campaign?
The purpose of the Nor Cal Drag Racing GoFundMe Campaign is to raise sponsorship dollars that can be used to add to the pay-outs of the 2015 events scheduled at Redding Dragstrip. By increasing the pay-outs of events, Nor Cal Drag Racing should be able to boost participation and effectively meet the goal of moving racers to the strip from the street. Neither Nor Cal Drag Racing or its co-owners profit from any monies raised.

Current Event Sponsors:
We would like to thank Spec Rite Torque Converters for their sponsorship of the Nor Cal Drag Racing Club. Spec Rite donated a custom torque converter which was used to raise money at the Eagle Field Runway Drags in May of 2015. The winner of the fundraiser donated the prize back to the Eagle Field Runway Drags and the prize will be auctioned at the Christmas auction to benefit the preservation of Eagle Field and future drag racing events. The proceeds from the Eagle Field May event ($400) will be used to sponsor the remaining 2015 NCDR Club RT Challenge and 60' Challenge events at Redding Dragstrip.
