Cpt. Neville Colburn Memorial Fund

It is with great sadness we announce that HPD Captain Neville Colburn, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away this afternoon. He had gone jogging at the Honolulu Police Academy and was found unconscious and unresponsive. Every effort that was made to revive him proved unsuccessful.

He was 43 years old and is survived by his three daughters, Megan (13), Amanda (12) and Rebecca (7), his brother Brian and mother Susan, who both live stateside.

Thank you so much to Chief Kealoha and the rest of HPD Command for being at the hospital to show your love and support to our family. It was so incredibly moving to see so many of his fellow officers there.

We would also like to thank all of his brothers and sisters in Blue. He loved his job and diligently served the people of Hawai'i for 22 years.

TJ (as he was fondly called by his family) was loved dearly and will be sorely missed. Our hearts are broken but our faith is strong.

These funds will help to defray any emergency medical and funeral expenses. Any balance will be set aside for the benefit of his three girls.
