My Voice Matters

Thank you for supporting our project, My Voice Matters. We are a group of parents looking to raise money for equipment for a life skills classroom. Our kids are special needs high school students who are non-verbal and have communication challenges. As you may already know, school funds and resources for classrooms are limited. This means that our kids often end up with leftovers and last of the pickings when it comes to equipment and supplies. They have a wonderful teacher, Mr. Bill Johns, who has been been asking the school for funding to provide his classroom with iPads. However, there is no funding available at this time. There are AMAZING apps now for non-verbal kids that allow them to communicate and demonstrate knowledge. These iPads would finally give them a voice. Every student should have a voice in the classroom. Please consider donating in order to make that a reality for Mr. Johns' class.
