MY BROTHER, A LONE SOLDIER.

Donation protected

Moshe is from South Carolina originally and has been serving in the IDF for a year and a half as a combat soldier serving in Kfir. He originally came to Israel to work and volunteer as part of a MASA program, and then realized he wanted to stay in Israel and help the country grow.

Moshe has found a warm and friendly community here at the Lone Soldier Center. He says everyone is eager to be helpful and that they frequently give more than he could ask for. He wanted to give a few words of advice to incoming lone soldiers.

“There’s a lot of factors in being a lone soldier that kind of put doubts into your day-to-day service, but if you know you’re doing the right thing and this is what you want then don’t second guess yourself no matter how tough it is,” Moshe explained. “The sign of a strong person is someone who can look past the obstacles and keep his eyes on his goals.”

On his time off from the army, you can find Moshe exploring his love for music. He is an experienced musician, and plays the guitar, flute, and piano. He says that music is his second life, and that it helps to keep him going as he puts in his long and dedicated hours as a lone soldier.

Please help Moshe and his friends protect our country. Donate to this cause to help fund Moshe 's ability to stay in Israel.
