I am standing as an anti-corruption independent parliamentary candidate in Hastings & Rye, against Home Secretary Amber Rudd. I am currently on benefits as a result of blowing the whistle on a massive fraud by HSBC. The bank has so far agreed to repay £4m to thousands of consumers, but I am still fighting for the full amount, about £100m.
I want to challenge the corruption in the financial services, politics and regulators and bring an end to "revolving door" appointments.
Corruption affects every man, woman and child on the planet. I will fight for the people of Hastings and Rye to improve their local amenities by campaigning against bank rip-off loans to local authorities, where in some cases up to 80% of council tax income goes to paying off these loans. I fight against the cuts which are the result of financial wrongdoing and vested interests. Against the awarding by government departments of contracts to companies based off-shore who do not pay tax in the UK.
The so-called and politically motivated austerity followed from bailing out the banks, who are the main beneficiaries of austerity but continue to defraud and rip-off small businesses and consumers.
I will fight this in parliament, hold MPs to account who have vested interests in matters they legislate on, such as private healthcare, financial regulation, fracking etc.
The funds are needed for my campaing materials - primarily printing costs. Everyone in Britain will benefit if I am elected as I will start cleaning up parliament and the City.
