For more than 30 years, the Mar Vista Family Center (MVFC) has been committed to helping families find their voice and to use it to create change by starting at a community-based level. From newborns to seniors our programs emphasize leadership, and responsibility, in an intergenerational manor by providing life-building resources and tools. We further help to organize and to prepare both individual community members and families for taking the necessary actions required for living their best lives.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
MVFC adults, often with their children, participate in and lead activities such as the annual Literacy Fair, street clean-ups, #community gardening, family festivals, sports, fitness, and other planned activities.
PARTNERS AND DONORS
The Mar Vista Family Center is a non-profit, 501-3(c) and heavily relies on donor support. It is your valuable partnering, in-kind donations, corporate matching contributions, and general charitable gift giving efforts that enable @marvistafc to offer multiple life-transforming programs to low-income and underserved members of the community.
We want to continue to meet the needs of the community of families that we serve. Be it $10, $50, $500 or even more, no gift is ever too small for your helping with the fundraising efforts of our center’s on-going program expenses, and we especially welcome donor support as we prepare for our 2016 initiatives.
