Hi everyone,
My name is Ashley Schultz and I am a senior at Wayne State Univeristy, in Detroit, MI. I am studying PR(public relations) and was just accepted into an amazing program in Washington D.C. for 8 weeks over the summer. The program, The Fund for American Studies, lets students from across the world come to D.C. and take a class at Geroge Mason University and guarntees them an internship during their time in D.C. This would be a great opportunity for me and it would be a great jumpstart for my career! The program costs approx $7000.00, I was awarded a $1500.00 scholarship but the difference is still a steep price. I am a struggling college student working part time and obviously can't afford the difference, my mother is retired and lives on a fixed income so she can't pay the difference either. So I'm just asking for whatever anyone can give me! I will apperciate anything that is donated!
