This is a story of the death of a hero. He died saving the lives of 58 people in a bus. It is a rare story of sacrifice to save others. The bus was carrying people from Addi Ababa to Bahirdar in Ethiopia when the driver noticed that the brake system has failed. He could not control the bus. The bus was on a ravine. If they could not control the bus, it would plunge into the gorge and would have been instant death to all the passengers. Andargachew(Abat) was sitting infront seat and volunteered to help. He was able to ram the bus against an object. To cut the story short the bus landed on its side killing Andargachew and all the 58 people were saved.
Except now His wife and three children are left with no support. No life insurance, no home of their own. We are hoping to raise funds for the children education and support and his wife's livelihood. Our goal is raise $100,000.
