50 for $50 Campaign!!
I am competing as your Mrs. Arkansas International in the Mrs. International 2014 pageant in Jacksonville, FL in July of this year. In order to make this dream a reality, I will need to raise a substantial amount of money to cover my wardrobe, travel, meals, and incidentals. I'm looking for 50 friends and family members to donate $50 to help me reach my goal!! Every little bit helps, however!
Over the course of the year, I will be speaking across the state about my platform, Ending violence Against Women, which consists of self-defense education as well as public awareness and early intervention. Sexual or physical assaults occur against women every two minutes in this country resulting in nearly 22 million women being attacked over the course of their lifetime. The international statistics are even more disheartening.
Please help me to support women as they become empowered and equipped to protect themselves. I am honored to be serving as the ambassador for married women in the state of Arkansas as your Mrs. Arkansas International 2014. I also am a career-women, mother, volunteer, and advocate who takes this responsibility very seriously. I look forward to shining the spotlight on our incredible state in the coming year!
